Teachings
The primary purpose of Mormon missionaries is to invite others to learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ and teach those doctrines to all those who are interested.
When Mormon missionaries knock on your door or talk to you on the street, they typically will ask for a few minutes of your time to share a message.
What do Mormon missionaries teach?
Mormon missionaries teach about the gospel of Jesus Christ and the basic beliefs of the LDS Church. These beliefs include:
- Who is God and what is our relationship to Him?
- Who is Jesus Christ and what role does He have in the plan of God?
- What is the Book of Mormon and what does it teach?
- Who is Joseph Smith and why are he and other prophets important?
This is simply a sample of the types of messages that Mormon missionaries teach. Most importantly, they want to help people build stronger relationships with God the Father and our Savior Jesus Christ.
